AIRCRAFT OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE

Thought I'd better give the RAF a mention.
There have been many fine aircraft serving within the RAF over the years. Here's some of my favourites.

As i have never been in the forces I can't really contribute to this thread, except to say that I went to RAF Cosford a couple of years ago and really enjoyed. Would'nt mind going again. Anyway, here are some pics I took while there.

I hope you don't mind me throwing a modern aircraft into this thread.
I know that Chocks favourite aircraft is the Buccaneer, and has to be flown.
This is mine, the Eurofighter Typhoon, flown mostly by computer, but what awesome agility.

Incredible aircraft and a great film. I saw the Eurofighter twice last year. Once at Yeovilton Air Day and Once at Duxford. Great Aircraft to watch, not sure I'd like to fly in one though. I think I'd be airsick

Another video of the Typhoon, this pilot really knows how to put it through it paces, awesome flying.
That's some manouvre he does directly after takeoff, apparently when it's flying inverted, the cpmputers have to take full control.
It's the only aircraft that can perform these manouvres while flying supersonic, I watch it but the one on 4.20 still looks impossible.
