Believe it or not, the Armoured Car and the Tank was invented by the Royal Navy Air Service.

I've rode on a Centurion tank when I was in the ACF

No, just rode on one at standford PTA. their was a about 20 of us on it. Couldn't do it today with health and safety and all that.

Yes mate Royal Engineers, Holly lane, Erdington. Abt 1962 - 1967 . Got to a Lance corporal. Loved it.

Then you can lawfully wear that medal if you choose. You hve to buy it though.

Don't know what the first one is mate but the second one is an aircraft towing tractor late 40's early 50's. Used by both the RAF and the FAA
