Two groups of medals worth seeing. Lt Col H Jones VC and Sgt Ian McKay VC. Both won their VC's postumously during the Falklands War 1982.
These Medals are on show at the Parachute Regement Museum in Duxford

Me too Frothy, I have the greatest admiration for all the services.
My brother was in the navy as I've said before, he would have fought in the Falklands had it lasted a couple of days longer, his boat was on its way there when the war was ended. He is the hero in the family though, he has a bravery medal for diving into the sea off Gibraltar to rescue a father and son in distress in rough seas, he and his mate had no life jackets and managed to keep them afloat without hitting the rocks for 20 minutes until help arrived. They had a big reception and award bestowing ceremony which apparently caused much leg pulling from their colleagues. He didn't even tell mom and dad, first they knew was when the letter arrived for him, as he was away they opened it!!

If at first you don't succeed, try again, then give up - no use being a fool about it !
