It was over the road from Ansells brewery, close to Aston cross.

Great Picture but I don't remember it either. I do remember a theatre opposite Ansells that endad it's days as an asian cinema but I don't remember it looking like that.
Would that be the same building?

After a little more research I am wrong in assuming it was the building opposite Ansells.
In fact it stood in Victoria rd Aston, opened in 1924.
The clue was in the name, must learn to get my facts right.

Don't think it's a TK, it looks earlier than that but I'm not sure what it is. Looks more like a Commer to me. I shall have to try to find out today

The cinema opposite Ansells was the Astoria,and on the other side of Rocky Lane on the left towards town was the Aston Cross later to become the TV studios.
